The NT-34M grips containers by the sides between two driven belts, leaving the space underneath completely open. That makes it a dual-purpose piece of line equipment: run it as a bottomless conveyor with an inkjet coder mounted underneath to print lot and date codes on the bottom of the container, or drop it in between two conveyors as a smooth hand-off that eliminates the dead plates that cause bottles to tip and jam. The NT-34M is a bottomless hugger belt conveyor built for two jobs. As a bottom-coding conveyor, containers are gripped on the sides and carried over an open frame, letting an inkjet coder print head sit underneath and apply lot codes, date codes, or other text directly to the container base using a non-contact printing method. As a transfer conveyor, it sits between two existing conveyors and grips containers on the way through, smoothly handing them from one line section to the next without the dead plates that cause bottles to tip, jam, or stall the line.
The belt path has an open design with no sprockets or chains underneath, keeping the underside clear for a print head and safer to work around. A turn handle adjusts belt centering, and both belt height (31.5"–39") and belt opening (0"–9.5") adjust to fit a wide range of container sizes and shapes without changeover parts. Variable speed control lets the belts be dialed in to match line speed exactly.
