The TruPiston 8 SERVO replaces pneumatic or air-over-oil piston movement with high-precision, electrically-driven ball screws — faster and more precise, with fill and charge speeds adjustable at any point in the stroke. It's built to handle breakable particulates up to 3/4" in diameter without damage.
The TruPiston 8 SERVO uses high-precision, electrically-driven ball screw movement in place of pneumatic or air-over-oil systems — the result is faster, more precise piston movement, with the ability to change fill and charge speeds at any point in the stroke (for example, slowing down at the end of a cycle to prevent splashing).
FDA-approved metallic rotary valves are capable of handling breakable particulates up to 3/4" in diameter without damage, and the reservoir tank mounts directly above the rotary valves for direct product feed. Built on a heavy-duty 304 stainless steel welded frame with minimal air consumption — all contact parts are stainless steel, Teflon, Buna, and Viton.
Control is handled by an OMRON PLC with AC variable speed control, front-panel mounted bottle counter, and easily accessible Start/E-STOP controls. Piston sizes range from 7/8" ID (0.45–4.5 oz) up to 5-1/4" ID (16.7–167 oz), so the same platform covers a wide range of fill volumes.
