The UAF-2500C fills hard gelatin capsules with powder, pellets, or granular materials at up to 150,000 capsules per hour. It automatically orientates, opens, fills, and closes each capsule, with an enclosed turret design that makes cleanup and maintenance simple.
The UAF-2500C runs on a 12-station rotary table with 18 holes per segment, enabling up to 2,500 capsules per minute (150,000/hour) at full capacity — or a reduced 82,000/hour if segment holes are cut back to 10, useful for tighter-tolerance runs. A dual-magazine filling setup and enclosed turntable design keep the process contained and easy to clean.
Filling uses a tamping-style system where each tamping station adjusts individually for precision weight control, and an adjustable gap between the dosing disk and tamping plate minimizes powder spillage. The powder slug is compressed in stages — 1/5, 2/5, 3/5, then full dosing-disk thickness — before being inserted into the capsule body. Sensors on both the product hopper and empty capsule hopper keep the line running without interruption, and defective or unseparated capsules are automatically ejected via vacuum suction, with air blow-out pins cleaning the segments before the cycle repeats.
All contact parts are stainless steel to meet cGMP standard, and the machine runs on Siemens PLC and electrical components throughout for reliability.
